About the project
This enclosed farmhouse kitchen remodel was designed to bring warmth, charm, and practicality into a traditional family space. The goal was to transform a dated and enclosed layout into a bright, functional kitchen that feels both timeless and intentional.
Drawing inspiration from classic Southern farmhouse design, the renovation emphasizes handcrafted textures, natural light, and the balance between rustic character and refined simplicity. The refrigerator and freezer are seamlessly built into the cabinetry, hidden behind matching panels for a clean, uninterrupted look that enhances the kitchen’s understated elegance.
Project execution
The renovation began with a complete reconfiguration of the dated kitchen—removing fluorescent lighting, laminate finishes, and outdated tile work.
In their place, we introduced custom shaker cabinetry in soft white, natural oak accents, and a durable stone countertop to anchor the space. The apron-front sink, positioned beneath the main window, floods the room with natural light while highlighting the handcrafted tile backsplash and matte black fixtures.
Open shelving adds warmth and accessibility, while the integrated appliances preserve the flow of the design. Vintage-style pendants, wide-plank flooring, and subtle millwork details complete the transformation—creating a kitchen that feels cozy, classic, and built to last.
