About the project
For this Lake View, New Orleans family of four, the goal was simple — create a private retreat right inside their home. With two young children and busy careers, the homeowners wanted their en-suite bathroom to feel like a serene escape — a place to unwind after long days and recharge in peace. They envisioned a space that combined the calming atmosphere of a luxury spa with the timeless warmth of New Orleans style — clean, natural finishes, soft lighting, and a feeling of calm the moment you step inside.
Project execution
To bring this vision to life, we combined modern luxury with timeless natural materials. The design centered around rich marble and warm limestone, creating a soothing palette of earthy tones that evoke a spa-like calm. The built-in soaking tub was wrapped in deep veined marble, providing a striking focal point, while the walk-in shower was lined with honed stone and fitted with dual rain and handheld fixtures for both relaxation and practicality. A custom floating vanity in natural oak added warmth and balance, complemented by soft ambient lighting and sleek wall sconces that enhance the room’s serene glow. Every finish — from the brushed bronze hardware to the seamless floor tile transitions — was chosen to deliver the quiet sophistication and everyday indulgence the family envisioned.
